Volunteer With Us

Share your time, skills or professional experience to support the children and the daily work of Purple Rose Orphans.

Respect. Responsibility. Care.

Volunteers can support Purple Rose Orphans in different ways.

Some people help from home with social media, translation, fundraising, writing or creative work. Others may travel to Uganda and support specific activities on site, depending on their skills, experience and the needs of the home.

People from Mityana may also support children through safe supervised local skills and activities.

Every volunteer role, whether remote, local or on site, must respect the safety, dignity and privacy of the children.

Volunteers must also keep confidential anything they learn about a child’s background, health, family situation or personal history.

Anyone who has a concern about the safety or treatment of a child is expected to report it as soon as possible.
