Two Organisations. One Shared Purpose.

Independent in structure. Connected by purpose.

Purple Rose Greece and Purple Rose Orphans are two separate organisations, in two different countries, working toward the same purpose: supporting children in Mityana with dignity, safety and care.

Purple Rose Orphans is based in Uganda. Its team is responsible for the children’s everyday care and for the work that happens locally, from the safe home and daily needs to education and health support.

Purple Rose Greece is the independent support association in Greece. It helps build awareness, bring people together, mobilise resources and develop partnerships that can strengthen the work in Mityana.

The two organisations cooperate closely, while each remains responsible for its own governance, legal obligations, operations and financial management.

This distinction is important. Support from Greece is there to strengthen the work in Uganda, not to replace the people who know the children, their needs and their community firsthand. Daily care remains locally led, while the two organisations stay connected by a shared commitment to the children.
